Why krsna got the name damodar

Why krsna got the name damodar . ----- once yashodas maid was busy doing some other errands so she started churning the curd and singing along the past times of krsna and was getting the eternal joy, her bangles were making clinking sound and her hairs were decorated with flowers were falling down here and there .krsna came there and was hungry and wanted to drink milk, yashodas first priority was to feed krsna so she started feeding krsna. The milk was kept for boiling started to boil and about to overflow .so she made krsna to sit on the floor and rushed to keep the milk utensil away from the fire. So krsna got annoyed and his eyes were reddish due to anger and took a piece of stone and broke the curd pot and went in a corner to eat handful of butter. Yashoda came back and so the broken pot and understood that its the work of krsna .and smiled thinking that krsna is so cleaver that he has run away for the fear of punishment.

 After searching for krsna a while she found him sitting atop a big wooden structure and busy feeding the monkeys and looking around so that someone may not see him feeding monkeys and scold him .so yashoda came quietly from behind but krsna saw her mother before time  coming for her with a stick in hand so krsna immediately jumped off and ran away for his life .she kept running after him in al nooks and corners of the house the same krsna whom so many yogis and thinkers can’t get krsna despite decades and decades of hardships . And yashods tied hairs were loosened up flowers falling here and there and krsna running for his life and giggling aloud. But finally yashoda caught hold of krsna and now krsna was not giggling or smiling he made a face as if he was about to cry , krsna was rubbing his eyes with his little hands so yashoda thought that krsna is so terrified so she threw the stick immediately , but to punish and teach him a lesson she thought of tying both the hands of krsna .now there are two things -- krsna fears nothing in the world and its just impossible to tie him , but out of love of his mother and also any devotee krsna can be caught by love and tied by love only .yashoda could not realize that there is no inside or outside , no beginning no end krsna is infinity and Omni present .

 Yashoda is just seeing his son in him. So she decided to tie him to a big wooden structure .so she got a rope and as she bound krsna and about to tie the knot the rope got short by two inches. So she searched for another piece of rope and another same thing happened again and again ---- rope was two inch short. She asked for more ropes from neighbors but same thing again upon tying the rope was short by two inch  she was all the time perturbed and shocked and smiling at this strange turn of events .now yashoda was getting tired seeing this krsna complied and willingly and she tied the knot . After tying krsna she went to do house hold chores and now krsna saw two pairs of trees called arjuna .-krsna thought that my mother did not feed me and so I broke the curd pot the threw butter here and there and fed butter to the monkeys and now I have been tied so let me do some more mega notoriousness .let me uproot these two trees .these two arjuna trees have a history , in their previous birth they were humans and son of kuber named as nalkuwar and manigreev. Fortunately krsna saw them; they were cursed by narada saint because they were not in their senses and forgot their duties. So narada cursed both of them along with a boon or blessings that gave them an opportunity to see krsna .  I’m earlier birth two demigods named nalkunwar and manigreeva and devotee of shiva were the son of kuber , kuber is the treasurer of all demigods. Just like the children of rich people are spoilt brats and are attracted to addiction and women similarly these two sons of kuber were on the wrong path .once these two brothers went to the banks of mandankini ganges near the kailash and in the garden of shiva .they entered the water and started misbehaving with the two women friend .when they were lost in material recreations not bothering about the surroundings saint narada was passing by and seeing these two demigods so nagged that they didn’t pay heed to him , but the women became conscious of narada and felt ashamed and covered themselves up , but the two demigods did not bother about  narada

 So for their ultimate benefit narada cursed them. That’s what the saints do even in their curse, blessings are there, and this was the exhibition of rajoguna narada wanted that they should realize their mistake and thus become free of material attachments. When a person becomes rich the person develops three habits --- additions, attractions to women other than the family and betting money, whereas money can either be donated or used in service of krsna otherwise its wasted, as krsna is the supreme enjoyer. After attaining money people become so cruel that they open slaughter houses and shops and restaurants thinking that they would not die. These fools are engaged in satisfying their physical needs forgetting that even the bodies of demigods ultimately turns into ash. By doing these activities a person is inching towards hell. That’s the pity by forgetting the prime duty of the human form of life which is to reestablish the lost and forgotten relations with krsna, he keeps on doing all things which is opposite to directions of bhagwat geeta not realizing that this body does not belongs to us, we are the souls not the bodies, without the soul the body disintegrates into five things of which its basically made-up of. To make a living one should know what way is directed by bhagwat geeta and what is not. To make a living one should not kill animals. That’s why narada wanted to teach them a lesson. A poor person does not want anyone to be poor and whenever he becomes rich in life he does charity so that the poor and old citizens are benefitted.  Poor person will not bloat of proudest even if he becomes rich. The more you eat more are the senses misdirected in wrong direction? Mostly vipr and saints prefer to live in poverty, and are not attracted to cruelty. Second benefit is that the saints can easily enter the house of poor person and likewise poor person is benefitted. Animals are not aware or ashamed of being dress less or necked. So narada cursed them to become trees for one hundred years. And narada returned to his abode .although krsna was tied to a wooden structure krsna started to move towards the two yamal   trees as he had to fulfill the narada curse and also knows that narada is a devotee of his and these two were the son of kuber. So krsna moved and pulling the big wooden structure effortlessly to which yashoda had tied him to. The wooden structure got stuck in between the two trees , and with another pull the two trees fell down with a loud thud and fire emerged and from the fire these two emerged   and they prayed to  krsna and realized their blundering mistake and asked for forgiveness and  krsna gave them permission to go to his father kuber . So they went away and krsna was standing there silently innocently tied with ropes to the wooden structure. Hare krsna .
