Why Lord Krishna Took Birth on "EARTH"

We have to go back a little to know why krishna had to come to mathura,a time came when the earth was ruled by demons and they became kings. The earth changed herself into cow and met lord brahmah the creator, she told him the pathetic condition of the earth with tears in her eyes.brahma then proceeded to meet god vishnu along with other lords, who had earlier also protected the earth.bramha along with others worshiped vishnu and he told them that he will visit earth come to Mathura to erradicate the problem, establish dharma and wipe demons.one fine day king shoorsen from yaduvansh?his son vasudev married the daughter of devak and was going on a charriot and as a small ritual the charriot was driven by kansa the son of ugrasen,as kansa was the brother of devki.lots of dance and as Band was being played and happiness on everybodies face

Kansa was son of ugrasen from bhoj dynasty and was the demon of the highest order.after listening the heavenly body the next moment he grabed the hairs of sister devki and was to chop her head.seeing this vasudev was surprised and he told kansa ~ you are known as most powerful king And why kill a sister on this happy occassion, and why do you fear death, death is assigned to all of us at the very moment of our birth.if you are 28 years old it means you have died 28 years.after death one gets new body according to his desire or karma.moreover killing a sister will bring defame to you.but kansa did not care a bit,so vasudev told him that i promise that i will give you the children as soon as they are born as there is no threat to your life from your sister but from her son,as vasudev thought the let me save devki first, then if the eighth son survives as per the forecast then we both will be saved.kansa agreed and everybody departed.after one year vasudev took his newborn son to kansa.

Lord "KRISHNA" Birth and Leela

According to Bhagavata Purana, Krishna was born without a sexual union, but by divine "mental transmission" from the mind of Vasudeva into the womb of Devaki. Based on scriptural details and astrological calculations the date of Krishna's birth, known as Janmashtami,is 18 July 3228 BCE and departed on 3102 BCE. Krishna belonged to the Vrishni clan of Yadavas from Mathura, and was the eighth son born to the princess Devaki, and her husband Vasudeva.

Mathura was the capital of the Yadavas, to which Krishna's parents Vasudeva and Devaki belonged. King Kansa, Devaki's brother, had ascended the throne by imprisoning his father, King Ugrasena. Afraid of a prophecy that predicted his death at the hands of Devaki's eighth son, Kansa had the couple locked into a prison cell. After Kansa killed the first six children, and Devaki's apparent miscarriage of the seventh (which was actually a secret transfer of the infant to Rohini as Balarama), Krishna was born.

Since Vasudeva knew Krishna's life was in danger, Krishna was secretly taken out of the prison cell to be raised by his foster parents, Yasoda  and Nanda, in Gokula. Two of his other siblings also survived, Balarama (Devaki's seventh child, transferred to the womb of Rohini, Vasudeva's first wife) and Subhadra (daughter of Vasudeva and Rohini, born much later than Balarama and Krishna).

to be continue .....

Freedom in Krishna

Whatever happened, it happened for good.
Whatever is happening, is happening for good.
Whatever that will happen, it will be for good.
What have you lost for which you cry?
What did you bring with you, which you have lost?
What did you produce, which has destroyed?
You did not bring anything when you were born.
Whatever you have, you have received from Him.
Whatever you will give, you will give to Him.
You came empty handed and
you will go the same way.
Whatever is yours today was somebody else’s yesterday and  will be somebody else’s tomorrow.
Change is the law of the universe.
